Evening all.
Was just wondering who here has used the game reaper rings opposed to the standard weaver style?
Whats your thoughts?
Cheers

I have them on 2 rifles, a tikka and a howa. I think they are great, haven't had any issues. I actually bought the first set for the tikka because the factory rings were sliding around every time I fired and I was so impressed I bought a second set.
Have a set on my trusty 308 and has held up to some pretty decent whacks on the hill with no issues. Would have put one on my RM rather than rail and rings but no 30mm ones available.
@takbok likes them so they must be up to scratch, but since I am a gear snob I only use Sphur!
I do love a DNZ mount. Here are some custom ones on my Sako A1 and Ruger M77:
They are great rings have a set on marlin 45/70
Heres the set on my Howa Alpine, these were actually advertised as being for a weatherby vangaurd, no mention of Howa. I was pretty sure they were exaclty the same so took the gamble. Im assuming it was something to do with franchises being obligated to certain brands or some such rubbish.
And here is the set on the Tikka
I like the one piece setup, they are super easy to install, lightweight and so far have been rock solid. The price is also pretty competitive compared to other options and with them attaching straight to the action, my theory was it reduced the number of points where movement was possible.
Both these rifles are chambered in 308, and the Tikka is running a 16 inch barrel so it is pretty lively and the zero moved once in 3 years when I fell on my ass with it slung over my shoulder.
Anyway, moral is, for a hunting rifle, Id struggle to recommend them highly enough!
I like them, I will be mounting some on another rifle.
They have plenty of thread so in theory they are holding though plenty of of material and should be good for an alloy ring.
I have had them on for rifles ranging from 2 70s to 2 60s. In 25 and 30mm, I love the one piece design.
Medium from memory.
ended up getting some, seam bloody strudy and impressed so far.
Ordered these just a day before Xmas and arrived today. Crikey that is service from USA. Hard case lady I spoke to in the firm when ordering. Great Yankee drawl. LOL.
Anyone used them for 34mm scopes? If so would they handle a 900gm scope?
