i have the previous model (60CSX). I use rechargeable batteries and find that I get at least 12 hours continuous running out of them.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
I have the 62 as well
I get about 16 hours from rechargeable batteries

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
I use a 60 for work(possum trapping), can run it for about 15 hours just using the dicksmith batteries before i need to change it if that helps at all!
I had lithum ones in mine it went for ages before I had to get new ones. I use rechargeables now but I dont find them as good as the lithium ones
Lithium is the go but not cheap.
Otherwise the highest milli amp hour rechargeables you can get

"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
I get around 16-20hrs on rechargeable 2500ma Eveready batteries in my 62s
I also dim the screen to minimum and only increase the brightness when I'm actally looking at the screen and only if I need to to see it clearly.
I have set the unit to turn the screen off after 15 secs of inactivity which I've found to be plenty of time when checking your position.
Be sure to save your tracks and turn it off after each days hunt if your on multi day hunts.
Three sets (6 batteries) lasted me a weeks hunting at Tussock last year.
Cheers
