Thread: garmin 62s battery life?

I get around 16-20hrs on rechargeable 2500ma Eveready batteries in my 62s

I also dim the screen to minimum and only increase the brightness when I'm actally looking at the screen and only if I need to to see it clearly.

I have set the unit to turn the screen off after 15 secs of inactivity which I've found to be plenty of time when checking your position.

Be sure to save your tracks and turn it off after each days hunt if your on multi day hunts.

Three sets (6 batteries) lasted me a weeks hunting at Tussock last year.
