Yep, I done mine when I was 15 the day after I was 16 I was in the cop shop signing forms and paying some money :)
Yep I didn't do mine and the day I turned 16 I was in the cop shop signing up my dads .22

I know that the Mountain safety courses around Nelson are booked out for 3 months ahead of time. Alot of guys won`t have there FAL`s before the Roar if thats what they are after.
Just got my licence last year. Roll into copshop (in tauranga) and they give you a pack with app forms and schedule of when Mountain safety Courses are. Also all the info you need on gun safes etc. Office was very helpful.
Give your local police a call, they will book him in over the phone for the safety course which is all common sense. The mountain safety course certificate is valid for 12mths then its 125? bucks and a sanity check.. Too easy for a good keen lad
