I have just purchased a package deal 223 with a 30cal modular silencer. I have noticed when screwed on there is a large gap (good 6mm all round) between silencer and barrel.
Have looked on website and can see that a blank bush is available.
Will be using on the range initially but suspect would need one for bush bashing etc.
What do you think?
Also, I don't have access to a machine shop, should I get it predrilled, if that's a thing?
Have always done mine with a bit of course sand paper, doesn't take long

My DPT bush is a very tight fit on my howa mini. Worth opening up? I see DPT themselves recommend 0.5mm gap all round.

Suppressor bush not in contact with the barrel or in full contact with the barrel all the way around is my understanding. That said, if your rifle shoots well, no problem!Quote:
