Do these require an additional recoil lug? Or does it come with one for tikka actions?

@25/08 IMP how do you find the cheek riser? Does it sit nice and flush when lowered? Is there any play in the mechanism when deployed i.e. does it rattle etc. And is it easy to deploy? Would you go for the riser again or not bother?
    Cheers.

The comb on mine (elite without cheek riser) is too low and needs an added riser. Using 34mm scope with the lowest possible Talley ultralight. The stock is light, stiff, and the pistol grip is a nice shape. The finish isn't particularly durable, it has more visible scratches after 1 trip than my Manners after 5 years.

I'll be shooting mine for the first time this morning after I load some ammo, but can confirm the cheek piece doesn't rattle at all, fits flush when retracted and is a great piece of work.
    10/10. Would eat here again.

@gimp going to have a look at them again at end of the month but i would be happy if the had a screw on cheek riser like the tikka Aspire stock made out of carbon

Hi sorry I've just seen this.
Retracted it sits perfect no rattle at all it's very nice, as to weather I would get another with, the comb is higher than factory and if you had a scope with a 44mm that would sit low enough I probably wouldn't as once it's set you don't adjust it anyway unless changing shooters or scopes.
My son has just brought one for his 85 finlight and it's again very well made i do like the flush mounted rail for the bipod and I would get the flush cups in the side for a sling.

That's great, thanks for the replies. Is anyone else finding the durability issues that gimp mentioned? It sounds more cosmetic, but still not ideal.
    Cheers

I wouldn't call it an issue, it's just marked up easily from 3 days being carried around and shooting a few deer. Very mild cosmetic effects so far

Same here - minor but noticable scratches from a few days in the bush and a few days on the tops (admittedly scrambling up some scree etc too) but very happy with the stock overall - would buy again.
