    Good 1" scope options

    So what do people reckon are good 1"scopes? Have a vx5 at the moment and love it but wondering what is a good 1" scope that dials well. Been down the vx3 route already.
    Cheers

    Swaro Z3 4-12 x 50 is 1” and Has a turret option. Don’t Know what they’re like though. But if you love the vx5...

    Swarovski 3-9x36 is very lightweight, great optically and you can pop the turrent and set to zero.....top of the post is also spot on for about 450m. Use standard turrent to dial if time permits....

    Not a fan of them. Don't really rate them especially after having scopes with good glass

    Yeah problem is wanting the ability to dial. If not I would happily go that way

    @Forestry

    Assume you have a 3-9x36? If so, would you do it again, or go for a larger objective lens model? Thinking about one for a non-supressed Sako .243.

    Thanks

    Hi Maxx - I’m very happy with my 3-9x36 and have never felt I needed a bigger objective. It’s partly because the glass quality is so good. At 3x it’s easy to shoot with both eyes open and plenty of field of view. Very lightweight and easy to mount low. I find 9x is plenty for out to 400m odd

    You talk about using the dials. I thought it wasn't a dial able scope or does it have capped turrets with numbered lines?
