    Hi Maxx - I’m very happy with my 3-9x36 and have never felt I needed a bigger objective. It’s partly because the glass quality is so good. At 3x it’s easy to shoot with both eyes open and plenty of field of view. Very lightweight and easy to mount low. I find 9x is plenty for out to 400m odd
