Got my new 270. What bases?

    No pics as yet.

Got my rem 700 SPSS delivered to Gunworks last week. Robbie shortened to 22 inches, threaded and did a trigger job for a sweet 25lbs break.

Just need to save over the winter for some glass. So I'm looking for tips for what type of bases are good? I read descriptions of various "MOA" values. What's with this and what sort of value do I need for a hunting rifle?

'xx MOA' rails are designed to cant the whole scope in order to provide more adjustment travel for long range stuff. For regular hunting just get whatever the regular weaver-type bases are for a Rem-700 and use some decent quality rings.
