I'm a shocka and would get lost in a sandpit, are gps watches any good worth the cost? Cheers
Please don't be to hard on me

Been wondering about these as well.
If it has Sako on it you would probably buy it and on-sell without unwrapping it.
One of those weird things with me, one of very many, although I have plenty of GPS units I still prefer to navigate with map and compass. Don't think I could get lost if I tried. I'm a disgrace to my own forum handle.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
probably need to be the size of a laptop so i could see the screen look good in a shopping mall tho
I asked hunterclub about them after seeing one used in an episode and thinking fark thats mint . They rated them good battery life in the newer models etc i like the idea of not messing around in my pack digging out the handheld unit to mark waypoints
i hang mine round my neck and put it down the front of my shirt when not using it
do you currently use a gps ive got a g64 its pretty good but i usually have a pretty good sense of direction in the bush
They are not really for navigation.

Is the watch a true GPS or does it just bluetooth to your phone?
@buzzman I've only used my one to track my walk not navigate or back track. I'm not even sure if you can mark waypoints along the route....guess I should've read the instructions
I'll dig them out and let you know if it can backtrack
