Greystone Guns K baffle suppressors? Anyone used one?

In my search for suppressors I found these while looking at cerakote options.

They seem well designed and come with cerakote applied. They also look quite nice with the dimples which reminds me of some surefires.

Anyone used one? Are they worth the price over DPTs with extra baffles added which almost brings the price to similar levels

The 4K model has a hell of a nose on it. 6" muzzle forward is a long overhang compared to the DPT of about 3.75". Even the shortest Greystone is 5" forward.

Wouldn't that lead to better noise reduction? I usually put an extra 2 baffles on a DPT anyway.

I don't know. I guess it depends on the efficiency of the base suppressor.
I just can't tolerate the idea of any extra OAL on a hunting rifle. But that's just me

I'll likely only ever use it for varminting out on open farms and not brush so OAL shouldn't be an issue.

Yes, the further a suppresor is "muzzle forward", the greater the noise reduction.

Yes tke Greystone K baffle is a good suppresor, in fact I wouldn't use anything else.

As long as its Comfortable to shoot one or 2 shots with no ear pro
I would just go for lightest and most compact
It’s breaking the sound barrier so it’s never going to be “quiet”

    They’re bloody awesome.

On open tops they’re really quiet. No need for hearing protection really but still use it as best practice.

My creedmoor is pretty well reduced with the can from Stuart.

I’ll see if I have a clip somewhere.

    Sorry for the wind noise.

Barrel is 22 inches and the gong is 335 yds away. Using 3K Suppressor, 6.5 creedmoor 130gr Norma match.

How much does that suppressor weigh mate? I like the weight of a DPT but those Greystone Suppressors seem nice.
