I have an earlier one. Later ones ore lighter and qjieter. Have had a bit of work done throgh stu and he does a very tidy job. Been pleased with all i havr seen come out from his workshop
Sounds good . Could you compare them to a dpt or hardy can ?
Ive never had immediate experience with dpt or hardy so cant compare directly sorry. They do well alongside the gunworks suppressors though. I would be looking more at the profile of the suppressor and how you want it to fit the rifle then decide which you prefer from there. I.e long and thin or short and fat etc. I dont remember hearing of anyone unhappy with a greystone and wouldnt fell nervous about making wrong decision in buying one.
Swapped my Greystone for a DPT, but that was only for less weight, no improvement on sound reduction. The greystone suppressors are good quality.
The Biggest Room is the Room for Improvement
I have a gun here at the moment for load development with a magnum Greystone fitted, the quality of the suppressor is great. I like the slimness of it.
Also have a magnum Hardy suppressor on my own rifle and to me there is no noticeable difference in noise reduction(both 7mm mag) but the Greystone is longer and heavier.
I recently had work done by Greystone and would highly recommend them to anyone, quick turn around and customer service was great.
Plus one for service. I have had two suppressors, a muzzle brake and a pic rail all done by stu and his work is fantastic. Good service, quick turn around and the quality is fantastic. Suppressor was a little heavier than the likes of dan or dpt, but if comparing to the likes of Gunworks then stu would get my vote.
I've got two on our tikkas (223 / 243) I might go to a DPT for my next rifle , but time will tell.
Customer service and advice from Stuart was really good. Price was great, and they are both performing really well ..
Definitely happy with my choice.
The only reason I might look at getting a DPT is because of size and weight for the same performance ..
I have had the Greystone on my 22-250 and it was very quiet. Stu also does excellent work.
The DPT is an excellent option for the lighter carry but mine wore quite a bit quicker on the 22-250 than the internals of the Greystone. But very quiet too.
Thanks for all the info guys very helpful. I think after a few questions I might go middle of the road if I was going for weight I would get a dpt if I was going for looks greystone would clean that up. But with the most db reduction I'm going to go with the hardy stealth .
