I’ve got one of those bipods with ‘twangy’ springs on my Sako 22 but haven’t had issues with game fleeing from the noise. (which can be minimized with a bit of care)

Not really, I use a bipod for every shot my Son takes at an animal as he is not yet big enough and practiced enough to take shots at living things un aided, and yes those twangy springs do spook rabbits at 30y. Originally Posted by Finnwolf
