I never thought I would own a Ruger 10/22 but after nearly 60 years in production and close to 10,000,000 rifles produced they finally decided to make a left handed one
I have put less than 100 rounds through it and am pretty happy with how it shoots so far. Groups are @50y using CCI subs.

Well for awhile id say 5 years I’ve wanted a howa mini in 6.5 Grendel
But after owning one Previously I know that I don’t like the plastic stock nor the mag
I like very Traditional looking rifles (wall nut and blued steel)
Which howa do show in the catalog so I ordered one with a local gunshop
But after 2 years of waiting there was still no expected Delivery date
So a canceled the order
I then contacted geoff at gunrack about getting me in a boyds walnut stock
And he pulled it off for me it was a fair wait with current shipping times but geoff was fantastic to deal with
I also contacted @Kiwi Greg and he hooked me up with the jefferson bottom metal to get rid of the plastic mag and bottom metal
Has made for one very good looking rifle
Just needs glass bedding and suppressor now
Just added this 308 Kimber Montana to my other Kimber Montana rifles (7mm-08 and 300wsm).
I had it shortened to 17 inches, got the barrel fluted, swapped out the stainless trigger guard for an aluminum one, added some Talley lows (thanks @Dreamer), and finished it off VX-R Firedot 1.25-4 × 20.
Comes in at 2.725kg (6lb 0.2oz). I'll add a lightweight Razor sling to it, so it will top out at 2.8kg (6lb 2.7oz) on the dot.
I wanted a lightweight easy pointing bush rifle and I think this fits the bill nicely.
