It's a CZ452, .22cal. Very happy with it, haven't had much chance to use it yet, apart from making little groups in a cardboard box on the back yard and shooting some home kill pigs. It's absolutely amazing after using my old break barrel air rifle.
Not new but nearly how I want it
may be sarcastic may be a bad joke
Here's what happens when you decide to have a clean out of 3 nice scopes & 3 nice rifles that you'll just not using & buy a "do everything fun gun"
Many thanks to Simon & the team @ Hunt'n"Fish Manawatu
Sako 90 Peak in 308, Swaro Z8 3.5 - 28 x 50 BT & DPT SS mag can. not a bad weight @ 8 1/4 lb
PS - Yes the true "train spotter" will see that I'm missing two ring screws, brought those PRW rings months ago & then discovered they were missing, so will sort before I take to the range & pop it's Cherry.

Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
@Ryan_Songhurst how does that Howa go? Been talking to Mark about one but fair to say his reviews are mixed at best!
Yea he wasn't a fan of the rail setups that come with them when I took it to him. Other than that it's a good wee gun, functional and accurate. Two stage trigger isn't my favorite thing in the world and I'm not a fan of plastic bits or magazines on hunting rifles so I would be first in line if a floorplate came out for them. You could spend a shit tonne of money trying to build something lighter.

The Howa Superlight is an awesome rifle for the money if you're after the "lightest bang for buck"
Pro's - Stock feels great & has a decent LOP for a super LW, trigger is fine & breaks plenty clean enough for it's purpose ( it's a lw med - big game rifle, no a comp or varmint gun ), you can now get Talleys for it, mine shoots factory ammo just under an inch @ a hundy yards ( impressive for a cheap light weight rifle ) & best of all it's farken light - did I mention that already ?
Con's - Ditch the shit arsed looking rail ( wtf were they thinking ) butt pad rubber fit's a bit off, the plastic mag fitting is a little shite & the bolt slide is sticky az but for the dollars fuk me I can't complain
I was running mine with a real lw scope but now running something ( what may look a bit over sized but far more useful for what I want, still under six pound at 2.69kg with the 18x Z5i ) 20" 6.5CM
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
Yea being able to have something factory that can be under 3kg suppressed is pretty unreal. I reckon one in 308 would make a neat wee backpack gun
Yeah it a pity that they're only available in such limited cal's, 308 wasn't my first choice but theres non in the country & that was on the shelf so took it
Seems to be a trend nowadays of giving very limited options when buying stuff, New cars used to come in 16 colours now it seems you have 5 to choose from
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
Nothing wrong with a 308 Phil
