I have just put a 1x scope on my bush rifle and am loving the ease with which you can shoot quickly both eyes open.

But K95 with 3 barrels and 3 scopes.

I have found an electric knife does a nice job.

I'll be bringing it in for a trim and thread, just wanting to put a few rounds through first.

And the deer will still be in grave danger if you do take it on "multi day tops missions" as well

Picked this up recently, nice old tikka m690 in 270. $500 from the second hand section of one of the locals. And a quick $150 for a suppressor off this site and it presents very well, have sorted it for my mates first rifle and was tempted to keep it for myself. Has a weaver 3-9 on it that was most likely put on it new.

My latest build, got sick of lugging the light but very long Waypoint 6.5prc through thick bush so finally got round to completing a project I'd hand in mind (and safe) for the last couple of years. I wanted something short and light, didn't cost an arm and a leg, but allowed the use of my OD suppressor which did. Meant I was stuck with an HBAR profile being mandatory, so what started as a Howa 1500 .308 20" Blued HBAR became this. A 14" fluted and painted bush pig. The barrel chop, threading/re-crown, and fluting work was done by DPT. Cerakote was outsourced by GC. I am very happy with the work from both, and the end result is a well balanced rifle. The suppressor is an OD Alpine Hunter Magnum, the optic is a Leupold VX-3HD 1.5-5x20 FireDot Twilight Hunter. Cerakote colour code is H-264 for barrel and action (both rifles), C-110 for the bolt on the Howa.

My Kimber Adirondack in 308 with a 17” barrel. I did have a Swaro z3 3-10 on which topped it off nicely as a bush rifle but recently put the Zeiss hd5 3-15x42 on as I’m planning on doing some more open country aswell soon. Gave the rifle a birthday couple weeks ago and painted the stock how I’ve always wanted it to look and very happy with how it turned out, the paint job survived its first damp clements bush bash which is good.
