It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

This is my latest rifle project. Picked up a T3 action with no bolt, and have gone from there with accumulated bits, using bolt from another T3 I have, boyds stock, tikka super varmint barrel thanks to @Dead is better calibre is 6.5-06, initial load work is very promising with the 142g SMK
FEMA funded crack head hunting expedition.

Signature removed because some people are intolerant of me being American.
Here in the US, Gun Grabbers just call that an evil sniper rifle used for long distance killing. Especially the surpressor attached is a naughty piece. The grabbers say it is so you can hide your signature and kill more innocents.
It doesn't matter what type of firearm. They want them all banned.
I don't bash folks for what they own and why. I own firearms for self defense, for hunting, for target shooting, and just for burning a hole in my pocket when I have money to spend. Some of my guns will never be fired. I just own them because I wanted it.
But I will not let someone disarm me. My family went through that once already. They were executed by the commie bastard Ernesto "Che" Guevara ad Fidel Castro.
My family got to experience the true wonder of civilian disarmament.

This thread is for pictures of firearms, and I'm keen to see what any forum members want to share, regardless of where they live. We can try to moderate what gets posted here and have a forum-wide ban on the word 'weapons' and it won't make any difference given what NZ shooters post on Bookface and youtube. 'Arm' is another word for weapon, if you are bearing one you are 'armed' and they are often kept in an 'armoury', to take one away is to 'dis-arm'. A 'fire-arm' is an arm (weapon) that uses burning gases (the 'fire' bit) to launch a projectile. As opposed to a pole-arm for instance which is a spear or pike. A weapon is a specific type of tool, designed or used to kill. A firearm is a specific type of weapon used to kill by means of a projectile propelled by burning gas. Most of us own weapons designed to kill animals, many of us own weapons designed to kill people, which we use to shoot targets or animals. You can call it a weapon, firearm, rooty-tooty-point-and-shooty, "das black-und-scary-laudenboomer" or anything else, but I really don't think it will change the perceptions held by people who use them, or those held by the general public. The way to change people's perceptions is not to re-label something, but to show them how it works. So don't argue with each other here; convert someone new by taking them to the range!
Okay rant over, more gun porn please =)
Rossi 44 mag, got it on the weekend, it appealed to me
Nice one mate. I had one in 44 mag also. Would love to pick up a blued one in 357 again at some stage.
The walnut used for 4th from top is still a bit green

Mine came in at 7lbs with the heavy Nikon monarch on it, so probably much the same.
Yep my barrel channel was also a bit tight, it was also slightly going rfom left to right, have attacked it with a Dowell and trued it up and got clearance all around back to the action.
Bit of a let down as they are a far get from a budget rifle, would have expected better from the hi tech stock although I suppose that are just ordered in bulk and the actions bolted in with no fitting.
Haven't bothered painting mine as you can't see it, the fibreglass shouldn't absorb water I wouldn't think?

@Spudattack I've lightly sanded as opposed to going all out, I didn't know how thick the fibreglass stock was/is.
Funny, mine is the same left to right in the barrel channel
I painted because I can be anal about stuff (and rough as guts on others, who figures).
Seems to be a large variance on price with agents, I was priced from 1400-2000.. I would not have been too pleased with $2000 for this. But for $1400 it's fine.
If you are interested in the weight, the following is in grams
Bolt 364
Stock 743
Mag plate + box and spring 233
Action trigger rings(Talley) barrel 1533
