I wanted this exact model scope and have spent the past 18 months on and off keeping an eye on eBay etc trying to find one in good condition that the seller would send to NZ... finally put a WTB post on here the other day to try see if anyone had anything similar, bingo! This thing is in great condition and reeks of quality compared to anything more modern I have handled, very happy Amazing what some of you blokes have stashed away!

It certainly is amazing what some people have stashed away... and stashed in plain sight - for example: "Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream". Nice. Must be how you keep your complexion looking so good Ryan.

It's a nuts and bolts setup. The stock on the Tikka is soulless, but that's OK and there is no doubt that despite being a fine product, the suppressor alters the balance of the gun. Otherwise, very happy and would love to hear some more 7mm08-latte jokes! I like the extra "lowness" of the Talley rings.

I'll use it mainly for goat hunting @Taff. Overkill you might say, but it will also be my deer gun when I get the opportunity.

Overkill as you know I shoot them with my 270

My new custom 28 Nosler built on a Stiller Predator action, Bartlein 8 twist 26 inch barrel with T2 brake, in a Ken Henderson CF stock.

Pushing the 195gr Berger Elite Hunters at 3075 fps.

I'm very happy with every part of it. It seems to shoot pretty well, while validating and data gathering last week, I shot a group of no more than 2 inches at 1275 yards.

Looking forward to its first deer now.

Yep sure can mate, those rounds as pictured with the 195 seated out in the neck fit in the mag fine, we put a wyatt extended box in it, the stiller action is already inletted for it.

Unfortunately i won't be down for it mate, within a couple of months of the Toby shoot, i'll be away for 12 odd days for a Stewy Island trip, so brownie points would be well streched to get in two SI trips.

Please step away from the keyboard. Put your winter woolies on. And go and shoot a Sika with it.
