Picked this up off @alanimal the other week and gave it a bit of a spruce up and a recoil pad.
Testing in a couple of weeks when I've loaded the ammo I want to use with it
As a b day gift for the daughter ( in a few weeks, she's been on at me to get her one for about a year....).
Had to go and give it a go, to make sure all was OK etc.... :) impressed with the grouping.
Tried cci subs and rem sub sonic (as advised this is the quietest, but not that good). Both really good, cci better but noticeably louder.
Looking forward to seeing her open the parcel and shooting time with her.

I've got a nine week old boy (my first) I imagine its a proud day when a dad buys his child their first rifle
The daughter turns 4 next month, so some may say to young, however she is a switched on kid, and I reckon will go OK. Just nice and easy for a start..... and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't like it.
The son turned 2 a few weeks ago, and I think by the time he's 4 he'll fit my standard 10/22... :)
What a great dad you are @Beaker:cool:
Finally got No4 up....just the elusive 1903 (ordered from NZRAC) to go.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...d7f3071594.jpg

I would only come out of there to shoot and root😆

I think i could root and shoot in there, and Then ventue outside to shoot the metal rifle :)
My man cave suffers from the freezing in winter issue....
I would root inside and shoot from the window to the outside to test my fresh loads. Maybe you should set up a bench rest table in front of the window? :-)
Ha Ha Ha that wouldn't surprise me.
I told my son to go to bed around midnight last night. He was on Playstation, he only moves to go to the toilet.
He could not go to bed apparently because he was hosting a game or some bullshit.
He wasn't hosting shit after I flicked the stupid friggen thing of at the wall😆

From hosting to hostile? :D
And i would beat you with a bigger mag of 9's.... :)
And Why dont kids just want to to get out and shoot, root and drink things. (or combos of)
On the timer, i'll cook you, with the cz :)
Yes thats a old man vers young challege and a reason to have a shoot!
Actually, i couldnt give a shit on the shooting. Just need to get the kids out of infront of the tv, and get them in front of a range, and have them enjoy it
(and i know i can beat you :) just not with a 40....)
Challenge accepted. And I still have a shadow but doubt I will need to dirty it😆
