Yep by 44 things were biting hard.
Sorry, to clarify - mine's not a Portuguese contract.
If you (or Beavis) wouldn't mind, I'm experiencing a slight problem with the magazine floorplate retention on mine. Perhaps you can help? Recently during a shoot, the whole assembly shot out the bottom. Seems I've all the parts but for some reason the retaining pin won't remain captive in the well. If you compared mine to yours does it appear as if I'm missing something?
The last pic suggests that it is held captive but it isn't, loading the magazine or the motion of a round being picked up from it, moves the plate and the pin just pops out.
The exploded diagram of this particular area doesn't suggest I am? Unless I'm looking against my eyelids, which has been known to occur.

So 655 is the Wa? Reason I ask is according to the chart I use, 655 is associated with the factory code "42" which is Mauser - Oberndorf. My '38 manufactured gun is S/243. I'm OCD about such things.

Roger that. The German guns with that Wa code probably have 42 stamp. I forgot the Portugese ones had the coat of arms. Nice piece anyway.
A couple of favourites. Stoked with Arisaka still have correct monopod.

More of a sword than a bayonet IMO.
The floor plate should be held firmly on by a captured latch. You should need a pin or the tip of a bullet to make it pop off. Unless the stamped German ones are different somehow. My German one has milled bottom metal and my Czech one has a post war stamped one but the floor plate is captive.
My one pushes in with a bullet tip but the plate wasn't keen to pop off.

Nice @Gibo. Details?
I see the barrel has had a different suppressor on in the past...
Can't be bothered taking pics but changed the T3 around, no more plastic fantastic stock, laminated green now wearing a Vx1 4-12 changed from the vx3 6.5-20, limb saver tacked on one end and I'm not going to bother with the dpt on the other. Brought the weight back so it shoulder nicely and points better for short shots in the island.
Close cousins. Recently pimped T3.

Canadian C7A2 clone complete... Colt Canada & Diemaco parts sourced individually.
Attachment 65944 bugger this long range carry on, it's all about the extreme close range these days. averaging 300 per day with this bad boy. with the hydraulic pack and hoses, she'd weigh in at around 150kg. No need for fancy scopes and range finders. deadly on the scrub bulls of the Kimberley!
Picked up a wee butey today Browning hells cannon ,7mm rem mag ,26 inches of fluted badness , muzzle break half decent recoil pad , rotary mag & cerakoted it handles great shoots well 2 got a meopta 6-18 x 50 on with leupold xbolt rings looking forward to getting a few hand loads through it.

There is one like that at fishcity in Hamilton . Looks like a semi custom rifle
Sure looks the part Boaraxa hope she's a shooter
Yep its good very happy with it I went to the range in invers today with @PERRISCICABA he kindly let me use his bipod & chronograph top bloke! tryed out a few different loads for now im sticking with factory ammo as it shoots the 150,s pretty good I think my last group with a nice ...clean barrel:) was a inch group & now I no the velocity I can try out one of those app,s it was pretty neat to use a bipod as well its got the spikes & sits in the ground a little I thought it would buck a bit but nope it was no trouble holding a bean bag under the butt it was nice not having to hold the thing down ! Whats the best app to use on the phone , its a iphone 6 ?

Nice shooter Boaraxa you should be able to get some good hand loads going with that piece.
Thanks , that's the plan iv got a good collection of brass now I wont to see what all the fuss is about with these long range shots its going to be interesting to see if I can actually hit anything 500 & beyond I think the big boys make it look to easy on youtube !
Not as many as I usually do Tahr iv delegated my self to the gumboot gang mostly short days but the good thing about that is iv shot more deer !
my new howa mini in 6.5 grendel which i picked up from reloaders today
had a wee bit if a miss hap mounting the scope so unscoped till i sort its rings and bases:(
Attachment 66003
I really like that @Boaraxa looking at thier spec page its a well thought out rifle with good calibre and barrel length options.
Let us know how it shoots
I had a few shots with a Sako Carbon light earlier in the week. Feels cheap and is a hard kicker in .308.
Alot of money and discomfort just to save a bit of weight.
[QUOTE=rambo ok so what happened
@northdude cheap package deal rings failed while tightening onto the bases the screw that holds the ring on the base actually broke through its own hole fucken nikko sterling pieces of shit lol
Let me know if you want a hand I found some more of my parts collection
