Nice 22!
People just don't get it. Grab an accurate 22. learn to dial it and shoot things from 0-300m.
we were shooting 280m yesterday with the 22's... I recon another comp is needed like norways 1 shot at 500 with a centerfire. How about 1 shot at 250m with a 22lr.
Yep, that's the whole idea.
EuroOptics did a limited run of Sako Quads in 22LR last year dropped into a Manners stock with an optional upgrade to a Lilja match barrel....they were all pre-sold
Then all sorts of exotic scopes were put on them, most guys duplicated their LR scopes......all for the purpose of cheap practise.

Relieved Shift 14 of his Sako 375 h and h a couple of months ago, he said he wasn't using it so we came to an amicable agreement $$wise, it came with the scope and new brass. I had a muzzle brake fitted to it and in the process of having handloads prepared fot. Took it to the range last weekend and put a box of Federal thru her, nice groups with box ammo, my shoulders just getting over firing 28 rounds thru her in quick succession.

Shitty pic but will take one in daylight later.
I picked up a Burris AR-332 scope from forum member Alonzo this morning and have put it on my birthday gift. Now to zero.

I met Barefoot up North and zeroed this NEA 14.5 inch AR15 carbine and Burris AR-332 combo (above) this morning. I didn't know what to expect from the rifle / scope combination and was a bit worried when the first three rounds at 100 yards weren't even on the paper ( clearly there is a flaw in the Rushy plonk it on and she'll be right method of mounting scopes) so brought the target back in to 25 yards to find where it was and then put the target back out to 100 yards. Once I corrected adjustments (realising the click values were half MOA and not quarter MOA) my last three round group were all in the red and sub MOA. I am not sure what this little rifle is capable of but I am a happy camper and now am ready to give it a larrup on goats.

That's going to smash goats! Just need a can now.....
Yeh res people keep telling me that but I have never had a rifle with a suppressor and my hearing has been fucked for the last forty years so I don't really hear them when they tell me. If I was to ever do it I should probably start with my Savage 110BA. The muzzle brake on that mother is a serious noise control violation.
Your call, but it helps a lot with goats-they don't know what way to run so just mill around half the time
Not hard to out cunning a goat!
