thats nice keen to know how it shoots i like my single shot
ill get back with some info on performance when i get a chance . . . its not lookn good for the next few weeks for anything serious but i do have enough ammo that came with the rifle to check zero and have a play
from what i can gather on the net .5MOA should be achievable with the varmint model . . . i got a few hundred bullets with dies, cases but sadly they're 40grn projectiles, 32s are supposedly a better choice for getting the best accuracy potential with the 1-10 twist of this barrel.
i ordered a bunch of 32grn VMax that i hope will be the one . . max speed is what i am after, with good accuracy to reach out there.
what is your singleshot/caliber northdude ?
R.
I've got a 22hornet handi rifle its accurate as
Hey northdude, you l, be surprised on how well the 40 gr can shoot in a long barrel like yours.

308 Weatherby Vanguard sitting in its new STUG stock. now off to DPT in early May for a shortening to 20" and a over barrel suppressor and then on with the optics.
Can't recommend STUG enough!

Dutch AR10 @res? Vewi noice
Just got this. Howa 1500 in .308. Don't use a centrefire more than a couple of times a year, so can't justify big bucks. This cost me $795 new at Shooters Supplies. The reviews are pretty positive.Attachment 67448

Current Home Defense blasters.... Glock 17L and Zastava M90NP.

Not meaning to answer for Miami but I fitted one to my AK yesterday. I wanted it for the adjustable LOP and it's certainly a worthwhile improvement in my opinion. It's a quality piece of plastic, folds and locks positively and the LOP adjustment is made easily and precisely. The surface of the butt plate, not being metal, also doesn't slide around on material when brought up to the shoulder - stays in place rather nicely.
Would have been better if they'd thrown in at least a 1/4" riser but hey - I guess that's how they make the big bucks.

Since the move down south I've been finding myself bush hunting a fair bit. Recently saw a bargain which I've turned into a T3x 308 bushpig, shown next to my T3 7RM, the Tikka family is growing!!
Just a .223 and a .22 and thats all i'll ever want right?

Leave it mint.
Definitely fit a suppressor.. DPT overbarrel are the local standard for an effective and lightweight hunting suppressor.
dpt all the way. reduces noise recoil. definately gives you opertunitys to shoot more animals if you have a family to feed.
You owe your ears a muffler.
