Been wanting to put a 6.5 Grendel together for a while
Anderson slick side upper
Hera MLOK handguard
Alexander Arms 16" barrel w/ AA hard use bolt
Anderson adjustable gas block
DPT Can
Topped off with an IOR 2.5-10 FFP
NZAR15.com has some more barrels if anyone else is keen.
What was the total cost of your upper with out scope, mount and suppressor ?

This is what my 7mm WBY Mark V just got turned into; 300 win mag 26" number 3 1in 10 Trueflite barrel.
Topped off with a Terminator T2 14X1.
Then later on she's off for STUG stock and mounting of my Vortex HST whilst I run the barrel in and get some loads developed and then it's time for a XTR 2 4-20. This will take some time to complete lol.
New cooper M51, in 6x45, 20" tube, 1-10 twist, fitted with a Swarovski Z5 3x18x44 ballistic turret,
had it out today for the first few shots, very impressive accuracy, 75gr serria Hp, doing 2950, and sub 1/2" for four shots, at 100m repeated three times, and 65gr v-max just a touch bigger groups, and 1/2" lower at 100m, I like it.

Just tested out my new suppressor (MAE Compact 42) and boy its quiet! Stoked also that considering the wind and rain today, it still shoots not bad. I'm sure on a nice day I could get this down to .2 or less but an average of around .4 under these conditions out of a standard T3X (only put into an HS3 chassis) leaves me pretty excited with whats to come.

Nice shooting mate, that would make @gimp mighty proud that right hand page :D true sub MOA rifle by his standards;)
What does the can weight? Had an older MAE and by cricky it was heavy
Nice just ordered myself another Mae for rifle for Ms northdude jnr
What standard model t3x are you running in that stock? Looks like a standard profile barrel, but only the CTR (at the moment) are running the 6.5 creedmoor. Shit hot shooting. Creedmoor is quickly coming my go to
Yeap was a CTR donor in 6.5 with the new 24" barrel model :) With it's popularity, I thought I needed to give it a go. It's very nice to shoot with it's light recoil and still good to know it is hard hitting. I can recommend it :) Just got into reloading for the first time too and am enjoying the 6.5 experience at the press! The first change was mounting a DPT 20MOA rail which is very nice.

This little project has been on the backburner for a few years.
The action is a rare factory single-shot L579 that came out of an early target rifle my deceased gunsmith built. Soon as I saw it, I knew it had better uses. Stock is a McMillan HBR I got cheap second-hand. It originally had a Barnard S action, again co-incidentally done by the same gunsmith. The stock was a glue-in and needed backfilling before re-inletting, my current gunsmith doing a -fantastic- job on this including fitting pillars. The rear screw is hidden under the custom trigger guard. Luckily the moulded-in stock colour with plenty of black virtually hides the repositioned bolt handle cutout. Barrel is a 24" Krieger with a DPT fitted. Scope a Swaro 5-25 Z5 with MOA elev knob. Lucked out on the scope mounting- the Extra Low Sako rings put the scope less than 1.5m above the barrel, and this plus the stock shape makes for a great cheek weld.
I wanted a walking varminter so went with this lighter setup and it's chambered in 6 BR. An absolute pleasure to shoot- almost no recoil. The BR is a seriously accurate chambering and walks all over a .223 for wind drift, despite using only about 3grs more powder. Fired two groups the other day while fitting the scope, both under 1/3". With some load development, I'm expecting something round 1/4 min accuracy

He's the gunsmith for NZ Hunter who prefers to stay behind the scenes.
For those who have never seen a 6 BR, here's a lineup for scale:
.223, 6BR, 6x47L, 6.5x47L, 7-08

Shoots alright too... 175 SMK at 2533fps

Time for some nice reloading with this 6.5 CM seating die.
Attachment 72748Attachment 72749
@Rwt just dropped it in the stock
Given there is an interaction between load and seating depth, what works for you may not work for me.
The rounds are loaded to max mag length, ie 2.83", and that's still well off the throat. Long as the load shoots and feeds properly, you're good to go.
Nice rifle 6x47! 1000 yard rabbit on a still day a possibility?
