100% loctitie bolts and bed rail, they are notorious for working themselves loose. Mine did twice. Do either of your release mechs bind up a bit? I'm thinking it's time to take mine back

I haven’t noticed any binding, but the rifle spent the afternoon in pieces while I measured OAL for various projectiles, checked chambering of various cases and rounds and cleaned the barrel.
One thing I did notice is that the action won’t open no matter how hard you work the hammer :ORLY: I need some serious practice time before I need a second shot at an animal!
It seems ok so far, gona hammer it next week so that should sort any issues
Haven't fired mine yet, but they are around 3kg or just under unscoped. They have a good recoil pad, and with the suppressor I expect it will be less recoil than my fibreglass stocked Brno. I'll be running mostly lighter loads in mine with 30-30 projectiles anyway, I have the 170gr do a bit under 2400fps in the Brno, it will be interesting to see what the speed is with a third less barrel length, probably about normal 30-30 speed.
Yes to me it does have a bit, as you say very light rifle, nothing to them
Suppressor makes it way better to shoot IMHO & it does have a good recoil pad
Definitely had some kick, probably similar or a bit less than my Brno, but more muzzle lift, noise, and flame! :fire: The guys watching were having a laugh.
The suppressor calmed it down a lot both in noise and recoil.
A new alteration to an old gun.

Latest effort with the Bergara, very much improved on the first.
Better prone firing position, much more dry practice on that trigger & 50 odd rounds.
Best couple of groups of the session at 100m with Federal 175g best, followed by Winchester & last some milsurp which was 4" roughly.
Also managed to bang some steel plates out to 300m(roughly slightly taller than IPSC) & in some strong crosswinds.

I'm assuming this is a .308, if so try Hornady Amax Black 168gr - I went through quite a few different factory combinations before trying that and it just loved it.

Nice rig @dogmatix. I'm loving the KRG chassis - it's quite possibly, the most comfy and ergonomic stock I've ever used.
@308mate
Repro woodwork on order and permits for the small parts requested.
But as we are now reliant on NZ Police and NZ Customs to do their jobs, I estimate delivery around this time 2020. :(
Couple of my babies...
How do you like the browning HC? Im umming and ahhing about the HC speed in 6.5prc when it comes through as an open country gun.
