These vx3i 4.5-14 x 40 ZL2 cds are a brilliant bit of kit and a decent weight mid ranger option. I see the ZL is coming out soon as options on even more scopes shortly, brilliant innovation.

Got the new Mod 7 .223 today, set up with a Leupold VXR 1-4x30mm thanks to Sarvo and Talley ex-low rings.
The box mag is 60.5mm at its narrowest point meaning its actually quite generous and will suit the 1:9 twist pill selection well. You could easily modify it to go up to the length of the 08 based cases mag box.

Got to the range with my freshly chopped 16inch A7 6.5 creedmoor and cz512 22mag. Averaging 2690fps with superperformance 129g sst. The cz trigger is actually better than I thought it would be. Much better than the standard 22lr I tried, fun gun that one.Attachment 146414Attachment 146415

Rem700 in .308 20” bull barrel, Magpul hunter stock, topped with my Vortex Viper 2.5-10x44, and Sonic Compact 40 suppressor.
This setup weighs a ton but isn’t intended for me to be doing lots of running around with it.
If anyone has .308 AICS mags they feel like parting with please let me know.
