M15 .38 Special, M17 .22 and M19 .357 Mag if I am not mistaken. All nice revolvers from the time when S&W were still making them properly. I like the Jordan grips on the M19! I wonder if any of them were ones I imported in the 1980's?

The eagle has landed, once I've had a chance to mount optics and run some rounds through it, it'll be going back to gunworks for a custom over barrel suppressor and I'm gonna play with a few different fore grip options to see what I like best. All I can say for now is it sure handles nice and feels very pointy being so short :killzonesmiley:

Here are my new acquisitions. Not as flash as many of the firearms on here but I'm a function over form sorta person. I like stuff that just does the job reliably :)
Here's my new bunny rig. a Savage MKII .22LR, Nikko Stirling Panamax 3-9x40 ao ir scope (got it new from Wilsons in Whanganui for $179!) and a DPT suppressor. Haven't put any rounds through it yet but will try it with CCI subs over the weekend

And my new (to me) Howa Lightweight .308 with a new Bushnell 3-9x Elite 3500 scope. The rifle was originally bought by someone who wanted to try a Howa as he wanted to use one to build a long range 6.5 Creedmoor. He bought a 308 because knew he could sell it easily afterwards, so only put a few rounds through it. It's absolutely mint! I bought the Bushnell new for $499 a few days ago. I've been looking for one for ages.
I wanted a compact rig; so the scope is perfect for what I want. I had also been after a Howa Lightweight for ages too and was stoked to score it for $599! I'll put a DPT suppressor on it when I can afford it.

@Sarvo I own 3 x S&L rifles ( Legacy, Victory and a Classic) and consider them as smooth an action as a couple of Sauer 90’s I have. Full diameter bolt is as smooth as you can get. Everything is high grade machined Steel, beautiful blueing and decent magazines. For the money and the quality, you get a superb switch barrel rifle with cut rifling. I have them in 6.5x55, 25.06, 22.250 and .223. Let us know how it shoots. Here’s some pic’s of the S&L factory I went through a couple of years ago.

@Southcity
That would have been a great visit
Norway yes ??
You might have seen my Thread on mounts out of Germany
I want to find the S&S mounts as people can see on your pic above they have a unique base receive
Appears to be no S&S in Era-Tac manufacturer Germany
Would you know where I could look
I 1st thought that was your home pic as I thought you were a rifle connoisseur - had me worried for a min :-)
@Sarvo I am not sure I completely follow your question. S&L make a custom base and ring to fit the double groove machined into the receiver. It is designed so you can have a winter and summer fitting for the scope ( assuming in the winter you wear more clothes and thus the length of pull differs). These mounts are imported along with S&L rifles by wholesalers CR Pain.
I have used as you have Weaver style bases to accomodate Burris Signature Zee Rings. ( the bases are drilled and tapped for bases as well.) This allows for various scope mount heights.
Yes I understand the winter/summer movement
So it is only available from S&L - I thought maybe Era-Tac or the likes may have had a clone
I will get some lower rings and yes seat it onto the Weaver bases - I wont need to shift because or dress standards like the Europeans :-)
