Attachment 184800 Just bought this Weatherby Mark V in 7mm08 for 600 bucks. Couldn't believe it
Attachment 184801 I think I robbed them personally.
257 Weatherby magnum, with an Element helix 6-24x50. Very capable rig that absolutely flattens Sika and pigs!
Attachment 184821
Beautiful gun mate. Would love a 257 one day

Back from the gunsmith yesterday
My 2nd 38-50 rolling block
Im really enjoying this caliber for long range bpcr shooting
A lot less recoil than the 40’s and 45’s but still shoot extremely well right out to 750 and beyond
My dad and I fight over the 38 as my 45/70 while accurate as it boots like a mule with the 550gn pills
So now we have a 38 each and the 45 will only get used beyond 800 where it’s needed
Shoots ok too

Attachment 184994Attachment 184995 This has been my dream rifle in the making for awhile now, finished off the load development and sighted it in today after mounting the VX6. Super happy with the results, shots were taken at 100 yards from bi-pod as I wanted to sight it in as it would be shot in the field. Just want to add how impressed I am with the T-MOA reticle in the Leupold. Really allows for precise aiming.
Tidy older Ruger M77 in classic 7x57 Mauser (or .257 Rigby if you prefer).
Delighted to have it in the collection!

@rambo-6mmrem
Repeater or single shot?
@madjon_ have you shot yet?
Sako M-28 Nagant
Built on a Hex receiver from the 1800's. Bit of a rare bird, bore is shiny so should be a good shooter.
Not as far as I know maybe your thinking of the alloy shim?
My one is one of about 1000 made by Sako. Well the barrel is, Sako assembled all the M28/30s. Using Sig and Tikka barrels mainly.
This one was made in the last year of production, 1935 .
It was never taken into the army ( lacks SA ) instead it just has SKY ( Civil guard) stamp.
It could have been issued to a reserve who never used it, then the reserve bought it and it sat in the cupboard. All the cosmoline had turned to varnish and it took a few liters of petrol to shift it all.
Keen to see how well it shoots.
It has a 308 bore
