This is my Bush Pig ...BSA Monarch 30.06 18.5" barrel
Subsonic bunnies are when they are at rest and eating. When they are threatened and run the turn supersonic :) when they start bonking they hit warp speed!!!
Got my 2nd gun rack up cheers Skeet72

How do you fasten it to the wall dundee? I was thinking I might put a lock on mine but no point until it's fastened to the wall properly
Three screws through the front bit goes thru the hollow tubes that hold the trigger then once its locked it can't be unscrewed then 3 screws at the end that holds the barrels.
6 SCREWS today i'm a lucky man:D

How's it done? Just curious. Not that it'll matter in 2 months I guess
Shit mate I'm a dumb farmer I don't no, it won't move that's all I no.
It is the right length for me which is what matters, personally I'd rather a fixed stock on but didn't have that option,
The cheek rest on the stock gives an awesome cheek weld, and it shoots like a mofo,
It clover leafed a mag full of cheap remmy ammo at 100 today so I'm more than happy.

Been thinking about getting a good .22lr lately and happened to walk into my local this morning, wouldn't you know it :ORLY:
Mauser 201 .22lr managed to find some warne mounts that fitted at home and put my Swarovski on until I get my .223 from Abe

Had never herd of a Mauser .22lr before but its very well made and just feels real good in the hands and on the shoulder. Can't wait to shoot it :)
I just couldn't help myself - a perfect nick secondhandy. I've never had a lever action and never owned a Browning. Looking forward to having a crack at some possums this weekend with my new old BL-22. (Sorry about the photo issues)

That's misleading ... those targets were shot last weekend with my subsonic Weihrauch HW 60J rig which I posted a picture of earlier in this thread. I was shooting targets at 60M with the scope mounted video camera. I was also testing an MAE suppressor v my new Hardy's (very latest generation) can and trying CCI v Winchester Super X Max (42gr). Basically I had a huge amount of fun and realised that both I shoot 'okay' but not good enough to provide anything scientific. I did come to a couple of conclusions though >>
1) With the price difference between CCI (~$50/500) & Win (~$90/500) subsonics ... the Winchester Super X doesnt justify the cost at all. (I was surprised - I thought it would kick butt)
2) I thought the heavier, longer steel MAE would be way quieter than my new latest generation Hardy's suppressor ... it wasn't noticeable at all, but I know which one is stronger.
Dreamer, That one nice looking 22. Bit tidy to take in the truck though
Picked this (Zombie) Ammo Box up at the Taupo show ... very handy for storing the night spotting gear including 2 batteries, all the interconnects & carry bag ... very chuffed!

Found this a couple of weeks ago

44/40 if it was good enough for the real cowboys , it's good enough for me
