Yeah, the are great fun. I believe the Volquartsens are one of the very few .17HMR Semi Autos on the market that function properly!:) The only thing is they (and the .22 Magnum Versions) tend to throw the bolt handle from time to time!:(Quote:

I was told (by the Importer) on both occasions, with both rifle orders that it would take three months, and I was ringing them every second week after that until they finally arrived!:thumbsup:

Good to see my old 708 is put to use! Is the new M48 .280?
The 708 is a great hunting rifle and handles everything I throw at it, as you can see haha.
The new one is 280 Ackley Imp. I wanted something familiar but a big more oomph than the 708, hoping to get to the states later this year for elk.
