Blasers seem to be quite polarising - but I think that looks like an awesome piece of kit. If I enjoy this lark and keep at it, that will be on the wishlist one day.

Here's my latest finished project, a newly barreled 1902 martini enfield action in .303. I picked up the bare action with rough cut stock but newly barreled from a gunsmiths estate with the mind of finishing the project and doing it justice. I wish I had $3,000 to put into it but also wanted to do as much of it myself as I could achieve well. I got the sights tapped and drilled by a gunsmith and got the stock roughly finished and have done the final work myself. Stripped back the metal work and did the blueing myself. Last thing will be to drill and install the swivel screws and attach the leather sling. All up including the rifle purchase have put about 750 into it and a whole lot of man hours. We're just burning through this Hornady stuff to get a decent amount of brass all the same brand to reload. We'll try some 100gr partitions I think. Shouldn't need any more factory loads but I appreciate the offer!

Kiwi Greg got the hard job when I sent him the list of things I wanted in a bush pig.... Light, subsonic, heaps of horsepower, and enough range
for the odd longer bush shot.
In the end he said let's go 450 bushmaster.
And it's beaten all my goals easy and is a real pleasure two shoot.
