Bloody nice Dale..... How do you rate the stiller action as compared to the lone peak action you had????
To be honest to me the lone peak would be my first choice for a full light weight hunting rifle. I all ready had this action built on a 300norma so basically kept that and changed everything else. The new stock was a lot heavier then the old McMillan but saved just over 200 grams in the barrel so ended up saving 50grams over the last set up. Got an extra mag as well. I’ll chuck on my now spare Loopie VX2 3-9, will stick a DPT can on the end.
The only issue is my 5 year old boy is too short for the stock, something my .22lr AR with its formerly A-Cat (not anymore!) AIL adjustable length stock was perfect for. But them's the breaks.
