Sold the 243AI Barrel off it :)
Using the 129 LR Accubond and will also try the 130 hunting Bergers with N560 behind them
Accubonds look pretty good so far
haha thats the same rifle :) wink wink
have 90 odd pre fire formed brass so all sorted there :)
So I have sorted a load for my 6.5-55AI. @2,868fps average with 140amaxs. 21" barrel with the suppressor on. I'm happy with that myself.
Attachment 25499
Watch out 4 legged critters :D
Oh and I loaded the 220gr RN in the 300wsm and got a @2,630fps average over 6 shots. They were rather consistent.
That's gonna hurt whatever it hits me thinks :) zero at 25 comes close enough to zero at 200m. about 8cm high or so at 100m so should be able to aim at the shoulder and hit it out to 200m.
that's a pretty good rule of thumb for any standard deer cal Toby.
on at 25 couple inches high at 100 on again at 200... near enough.

Not blooded yet....but I did shoot quite a nice rock behind quite a nice chamois buck with it.

Looks very nice! More pics!!!!!!
It's 1-8 march Cam, I wanted something small and 'discrete' that I could chuck in my pack during the roar etc but still have the ability for a longer shot if needed.
Stutzen Edition? What calibre?
Nice rifle..
Yip, 6.5x55. Handles nice.
Sweet.. and a perfect cal choice as well...
I've had my 26 Terminator on the go for a little while now & finally got a decent chance to get it going with its final stock.
It weighs 2.69 kgs, 5.9 lbs with the Terminator wooden stock in the pictures, 2.81 kgs, 6.2 lbs with a Carbon one.
http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6f63266c.jpg
It has a Rem 700 Titanium action, True Flite UM 26" 1-9 barrel, Talley rings, Leupold VX3 4-5-14 x 40 with Alumina caps, light weight firing pin.
http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/...ps12280f20.jpg
It is my version of the 6.5-375 Ruger, shooting the Cutting Edge 120 at 3550-3575 fps & the Berger 140 Hybrid at 3320- 3350 fps into 0.5-0.75 moa.
I wanted to use the Cutting Edge 130 but the 1-9 twist is to slow even with the velocity.
http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/...psde895ea7.jpg
I favour the solid copper projectiles for the extreme velocity cartridges, I find it easier to use one load.
It will be interesting to see the terminal performance of the Cutting Edge 120.
I wanted to use it because its BC is 0.5 which is higher than the 120 GMX at 0.45 or the Barnes LRX at 0.468
The Berger 140 Hybrid with its 0.618 BC would be the best but I'm unsure on close up terminal performance
Also recoil is interesting with no brake or suppressor in such a light rifle :)
Great "taste" for guns, congrats! I have 2 7mm RemMag just because I also like LR shooting.
I have my T3 hunting and a T3 Varmint HB for my LR.
HAVE FUN!
Happy as a dog with two dicks with this .22LR Quad Range.
Fitted with a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20 E.F.R. scope and a DiProducts 20 MOA rail. The billet alloy trigger guard is also from DiProducts, the bolt knob is from KMW, all via EuroOptics.
Cheap to run and shoots like a dream.

lot of money there for a rimfire
That was what i was thinking. Thats something you buy if you already own everything.
Much rimfire envy, enjoy.
With the 20moa rail I'm sure you can shoot paper much further than 100m while learning the skills to shoot much further again with a centerfire at game
Nice 22!
People just don't get it. Grab an accurate 22. learn to dial it and shoot things from 0-300m.
we were shooting 280m yesterday with the 22's... I recon another comp is needed like norways 1 shot at 500 with a centerfire. How about 1 shot at 250m with a 22lr.
Yep, that's the whole idea.
EuroOptics did a limited run of Sako Quads in 22LR last year dropped into a Manners stock with an optional upgrade to a Lilja match barrel....they were all pre-sold
Then all sorts of exotic scopes were put on them, most guys duplicated their LR scopes......all for the purpose of cheap practise.

Almost ready for pickup ..........yay and well pleased so far, thanks Terminator Products.
