Relieved Shift 14 of his Sako 375 h and h a couple of months ago, he said he wasn't using it so we came to an amicable agreement $$wise, it came with the scope and new brass. I had a muzzle brake fitted to it and in the process of having handloads prepared fot. Took it to the range last weekend and put a box of Federal thru her, nice groups with box ammo, my shoulders just getting over firing 28 rounds thru her in quick succession.

I met Barefoot up North and zeroed this NEA 14.5 inch AR15 carbine and Burris AR-332 combo (above) this morning. I didn't know what to expect from the rifle / scope combination and was a bit worried when the first three rounds at 100 yards weren't even on the paper ( clearly there is a flaw in the Rushy plonk it on and she'll be right method of mounting scopes) so brought the target back in to 25 yards to find where it was and then put the target back out to 100 yards. Once I corrected adjustments (realising the click values were half MOA and not quarter MOA) my last three round group were all in the red and sub MOA. I am not sure what this little rifle is capable of but I am a happy camper and now am ready to give it a larrup on goats.

That's going to smash goats! Just need a can now.....
Yeh res people keep telling me that but I have never had a rifle with a suppressor and my hearing has been fucked for the last forty years so I don't really hear them when they tell me. If I was to ever do it I should probably start with my Savage 110BA. The muzzle brake on that mother is a serious noise control violation.
Your call, but it helps a lot with goats-they don't know what way to run so just mill around half the time
Not hard to out cunning a goat!
Gimp, i know you… LOL drop a hi when coming back Queenstown way to see Shaun… Mac

Remington 700 XCR 2 300wsm in a MDT Light Sniper System chassis with a hardy suppressor and a Vortex Viper PST 6-24-50 scope
What do you think of that chassis? Was thinking of getting one for a short light build
That's an awesome Birthday gift Rushy, lucky man. I hope I get one like that, I'm after one at the moment. Might have to slyly drop that one.
I haven't had it long but for the time I have had it I would say its awesome. I have found my shooting improves when using a pistol grip and it is light and compact for the bush, oh and it gets points for giving me my first red deer. I would say there are two minor drawbacks to it. Its quite expensive for what it is and the very small front end means there's not much hand room, It could make things a little difficult if you need to move quickly for a close range fast moving deer. I am going to install a foregrip that doubles as a bipod to correct that though
11k? Still a .308 :D eh VC :P

Scope is a bsa sweet 17 6-18x40 mounted on weaver mounts and weaver quad lock rings.
Sent from my work bench
it was supposed to be shortened and threaded for the suppressor i bought but it seems that service is not a word familiar with local gunsmiths, after two weeks and a maybe it'll get done in the next week after being promised "it'll only be a few days" i took it back.
