Because you are using a 222/223 which as everyone knows never needs more than 1 shot or was that the 257 Weatherby?

I like your style. I have a soft spot for lever actions in .44 or higher [emoji7]
Any indication on cost @john m ?
Guys, can we not shit up another thread please?
Timmay RRP $1590 too much for me. I made an offer below that and it came home.
Well not new as I bought it some 14 years back.
A near mint condition BRNO 581 Auto .22LR manufactured in 1959. It's quite accurate and is beautifully made.
Those BRNO's were always nice to look at.
I've only fired a few shoots with it then it went back in the cupboard as the scope mounts seemed to be putting pressure on the scope.
It's at DPT's getting threaded and suppressed then I will give it a good workout and report back.
I've been having fun with the trapdoor 45/70 instead. I tell you the goats don't go far with a hole that size in them. Need to get a deer with it though.
.... patiently waiting. ..... @BRADS maybe?
Nothing new in my safe yet mate.
You?
Sako AII receiver supplied by Bronson via Shootm (forum members), Sako 7mm08 barrel, Sako L579 stock. Re-bluing by Allen Carr, gunsmithing by Arthur Cleland and glass-bedding by Kevin Gaskill. Topped off with a Leupold VX3 2.5 - 8 x 36 and a DPT modular suppressor. It shoots well (9mm 3 shot group using Nosler 140gr BT in front of 42.5gr AR2208). No reds or fallow yet just a whole lot of goats!
Thank you to Bronson (and NZH&S).

Nice rig GRS300 and welcome to our forum.
Sako 85 Black Bear .308. Swarovski Z6 1.7-10X42 in Optilock rings. Bought this rifle in January because I liked it's lightness and the balance. It shoots under .5 MOA with almost everything I've tried. Has quite a heavy profile 20" fluted barrel.
Here is a quick 100m 3 shot group I shot this morning trying out the Hornady 150 SST from three projectiles a mate gave me to try. Shoots the Barnes 130gr TTSX even better. Then I only tried the one load with the SST's and they may do better with a different load or powder etc. Anyway, worth investigating further.
Very nice. Had a look at one at the Tahr Show. Probably the only Sako on the rack I would say was worth the coin.
Fn nice man!
One of these days I will stomach the price required for these beautiful rifles.
Until then my Tikka will do :D
@Gibo fuck that mate, I only hunt cuz the toys are cool
