Nah, that's how they are @Toby If you are using IE, zoom in 400% for a close look.
That has to be one of the best set ups I've ever seen.
Thanks guys, I am very happy at how it turned out. :)
I was a bit nervous doing the bedding as it was the first time I had done it!
I would definitely take her home to meet the parents.............

Gimp, didn’t you have one of those back when you were a scone grabber? Or is that the same one?
I did, but this is "new". Except not new.
Nice one gimp. They're cool.
Yeah I shot my first deer with a .223 one, always wanted to get one. It's a bit rough, will come up ok hopefully
I don't even know what that is.

An obscure German semi-auto .223 hunting rifle from the 1980's in average condition with a non-factory stock
I think its HKs civie rifle version using roller locking like the Mil HK line , ie G3 etc , same time frame 70-80s .
Attachment 30076 Stuck with this beast for another week till my license arrives!
Had a shot with an AK47 tonight but left me bloody camera up at the shed.
Sold a bunch of stuff and bought these two plus played with em a little. Both used actually all the bits except rings were used and bought off here over time.
Hopefully both will shoot good

T3 6.5x55. Weight loss = fluted barrel , bolt, receiver milled, trigger job, GW Suppressor weighs 3.65 Kgs with scope and suppressor.
VX 3 4.5 -14x 50. 30 mm side focus CDS

Sako 308 bolt fluted, trigger played with,shortened ,GW Suppresser. VX-3L 4.5 x14 x50
Heavier than the T3 at 3.7 Kgs but is to be my walking stick... :P
Theres a point what weight is considered light and what is heavy ??
Any reason why you bought two guns which both could fit the exact same purpose?
I'm presuming a middle ground theory with the 6.5x55 being a little cooler than a 308 and a sako being a little cooler than a tikka? :P
Lots of reasons mainly to replace a heavy .243 that I liked except after carrying it all day, and a heavier Sako 85 Wood that I started to wreck in the bush, and didn't like to carry too far.
I also have heaps and heaps of reloading gear for both, brass, projectiles etc. These just popped up at really good prices, same as the scopes etc..
Figured I d set the 6.5 up for fallow in the wide open spaces and the 308 is my bush gun. Consolidation as well three guns gone two as good or better ones arrived.
They are better guns for me and my type of hunting. It all just fell together ... Man there's some good buggers on here to do deals with for sure !!

Just don't ever weigh your gun and you will be happy in life. Please no-one weigh my Blaser setup, I'd hate to hear a number attached to it. Once there's a number, you see other people's numbers and go "oh his is .2kg lighter than mine, maybe I can make mine lighter" and then you will never be happy. Pick it up, carry it, be happy. Don't weigh it.
