that's a nice 222 there
Cheers. Yep it's a bloody lovely rifle. I have to mention all guns were bought at shooters supplies in chch. All prices were lowest around and great service from Geoff and andy.
Picked up my present to myself for two recent achievements I've been working towards for the last few years.
Excuse the carpet photo but here is my Savage 110 fcp in 338LM. Scope is on its way from oz :-D

Nice looking rig mate. feel free to throw up some pictures of the groupings you achieve. Shooters supplies have the 308 tactical version for $2,400 if anyone was interested fyi.
Cheers mate itching to get out there and give it a go! Picking up dies monday so as soon as the scope arrives and is mounted ill get a photo of the groups up.
that is one well armed dog
just picked this up for my partner at a price that was too good to say no to, she is a sako 85 stainless syn in .243 and it came with a kahles 3-9x42 scope had a few hand loads sitting around and managed to get 3 shots in to less then a centre metre but forgot what thay were loaded with so now am using hornady superformance 95gr an was happy with 1 inch in the end Attachment 31906Attachment 31907

Boyds Prairie Hunter
Sweet wee rifle
how are you liking the scope ebf
@scoped, it is serviceable for now. i'd like to put a FFP on it for field comps
omg I'm like a kid in a candy shop. Just received my 1913 P14 Bayonet made in 1917 flown in from Wisconsin USA. I can't believe I finally got one and in such amazing condition. Blade and scabbard have really been looked after. Droool. Can't wait to try it on the gun tonight :) :) :)

After waiting an age for permits and bits to arrive AR complete.
@nzfubz looks good, What do you think of that VXR patrol scope?, I was thinking of putting one on my RX22
Only got it today so will let you know after range tomorrow. So far the glass is excellent and the Firedot looks like helping acquisition. Liking the size and weight.
Cool, look forward to seeing what you think of it.
Wow that's a scary one, what with its free standing pistol grip and big mag and all :D
Whats the bit sticking out to the right of the action ?
In the pic it looks like it might be some kind of guage but my head says it must be some kind of holographic sight?
Edit to add the first part of my post is taking the piss of course.
Stock is a Luth-AR Modular Buttstock Assembly for .223 and .308 ARs really like it pretty solid for the price and the adjustments are handy.
Cam,
it is very scary I keep it locked away in a very dark cupboard so not to scare the general public an only take it out under the cover of darkness.
Its a fastfire III holographic on a 45 dregree off set.
New to me
Thanks to @45SOUTH for supplying a bolt which has the handle on the proper side of a rifle :D

.223
And 45SOUTH was able to supply a s/hand one in 6.5x55 as well :)
I'll put some effort into selling off the contents of the gun cabinet if it shoots as good as it feels. Love the feel of the straight pull.

Not new gun but its got new eyes. Briefly had a sightron SIII 6-24 uptop but was to much fir the 308. After a deal was stuck I received this in the post. Vx3L 4.5-14. Which I really like.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...b6d85e5c37.jpg
And first few shots with it today seem promising with the bdc type reticle
I take it you were re zeroing between shots i.e. 3-4,5,6?
yea mate so bore sighted then shot @25 to get lined up, shot 3 was 3 or so inches high made the adjustment and then out 456 into just over 1/2 an inch. Had worked out roughly what the hash marks ment on the reticle and gave it a worle , @ 325 certainly would have killed a deer. My thoughts on the glass is excellent but probably lacking slightly to the sIII in brightness but I am impressed with the paralax as it has no adjustable and while it may not be as crisp throughthe field of range its certainly not blurry or obstructed
My new Ruger American All Weather in 223. Waiting delivery of the Redfield 4-12x42 varment scope. Looking forward to getting it sighted in.

Growing to dislike long rifles so the 7-08 barrel was sent up to DPT and 3 and a bit inches removed.

Very good job with tidy threads and crown. Let's see if the old load will shoot or if it needs work.
what is it now, like 19"?
Your new load will probably shoot crap..... so give me all your 140gr BT's then eh ;)
