And it is, he is very amused that the pic has ended up here from where he posted it
The DTR is an evolution of the ermaSR 100 sniper rifle, where you could swap barrels, mags and bolts to go from 308 to 300 wm or 338 lapua.
The French silencer manufacturer, Stopson , offered the option of having that rifle with a 510 anthis barrel,( same bolt as 338 lapua)which is actually a copy of the 500 whisper from JD Jones. All that was happening in the mid 90's.
So the concept is not that new. But it still make for an interesting combo to own and have fun with :-)
Facebook? Still lost sorry mate.

Blackout was Alonzo's. Aero Precision. Also added CMMG trigger.
Just got my FAL. Here is my first gun. I shot it in today, totally hooked already.
Tikka Varmint 223.
Its going to take a bit to get use to holding the thing steady so I can be accurate. Any tips guys...... I managed some good groups(even got some through the same hole) but then had some shockers. I guess practice makes perfect, I will get there slowly.

using your left hand or even better a bag under the stock to steady it helps a lot.
Agree with cam butt sack will improve 10 fold, set it up so it holds on the bull without your input then dont be intimidated when you fire ride the rifle like the woman you want to marry - Squeeze and hold firmly - dont go all sloppy like a one nighter
Furthermore practice makes perfect keep squeezing off those rounds - kinda like the above also i suppose
Yep, Practice, practise, I just worked out I fired 269 rounds out of my new rifle before I shot the deer in last week.
My group shooting abilities have got a wee bit better BUT I have confidence now in my rifle AND me.
Out of that 269 rounds, the 20th round was at a deer at 350 and missed, 21'st round was at the hare 20 behind where the bloody deer was and hit and the 269th round was at a deer at 150 and hit. I fully intend to actually wear this barrel out. Plus I like just "shooting' matters not what or where.
Yea.... had not fired a shot since nov (which was a miss:wtfsmilie:) and not used the 22 for probably well over a year, first couple of bunnys got lucky till I got my eye back in last night.
Sasquatch is loving his new Howa build chambered in .308 :)

My new rifle, a 1994 Brno ZKK 600 7x57. No pop-up aperture sight unfortunatley. Only has the standard trigger, not the single set. The stock has a shiny polyurethane finish which I will strip off and probably use boiled linseed oil on the stock.
Adds to my 7mm collection. I now have a 7 08, 7x57, 7 SAUM and a 7 RUM. The odd one out is my 9.3x62.

Everybody gets new rifles today
Anywhere up there is good generally, its those American ones you want to be wary of, especially in the last 20years..... better off going to China :brains...!:
@Vietnamcam, what was the price on the diana? I've got a BSA PCP so not really suitable for the kids when they get older

this turned up in the mail. didnt really need another shotgun but this was just to cheap to not buy.
NO its a Mauser designed cartridge that was in service from 1889 - 1970s. In a strong action like my ( Mod 98 )1944 Spanish Air Force Mauser thats been fitted with a new Frankonia 7.65 x 53 barrel its between a .308 win and 30-06 in performance. I had no problem getting Dies ( Lyman )or cases ( Norma) Projectiles are .311 (303 Brittish ). Very accurate sub MOA.

Just had the HMR Threaded and installed a new front stud as the last one stripped out.
It's a gun city Brave Heart.
Worked nicely on the .22 so I'm hoping it does a good job on the Hummer.
Hushpower Silencer Rimfire 22CAL & 17HMR Braveheart Magnum *Choose Colour* 1/2x20
