Had a real nice Remington 700 Mountain Rifle in .280 Remington. One of the ones that came out in 1992 with the ADL stock. Got rid of that and replaced it with a Remington Mountain Rifle laminated stock and floor plate assembly from Numerich Gun Parts. Sold it as part payment on a Blaser R93.
Definitely one of the WORST decisions to sell that rifle. Think my 7 mm SAUM build will erase that bad memory

I can't bear to open the wound, it's taken awhile to start to heal, and to open it up again would only bring me to sob with the rest of you:TT TT:

Mine was an old Rem700 BDL 22-250,my first at 16yrs old, thought I was the man with it.Put a empty 22/250 case on top of a post one day at 100yds, put the bullet smack bang straight through the center. Shot my first deer with it on the 3rd shot with the fat part of the cross hair on its back, so it was a long way off. I was the man haha.
Sold it for a Sako 75 308 but I still miss it, last time I saw it was in H&F in palmy about 11 years ago.

Winchester xtr 22magnum sold it to buy my first centerfire , it was in mint condition and would shoot around a inch at 100m.
Brno model 2 made in 1967 with a pecar junior on it , again in mint condition , I'm still having nightmares about it.
