I don't think Dean Maisey is doing any restoration work, Robert Dollimore I believe retired - Maybe Allan Carr would be the best bet. The rifle circa 1880 is one of only 8,000 odd made so wanted it to go to good hands. Who would you trust for this type of work?

Many years back I had the opportunity to fire a Remington Hepburn chambered for 38-55. It was not original but still a really nice old rifle. The cartridges had been loaded by the owner with his cast lead projectiles but not from memory black powder. Enjoy yours.
