Thread: gunworks or dpt?

I would say both are very good, I have Gunworks and have used DPT (and a variety of others). If you're in the Nth Island, DPT all the way and South go with Gunworks. The possible only real difference is the ability to add or remove sections off the DPT but to be honest I can't say I've ever had to - or felt that I missed the feature on the Gunworks cans.

The biggest thing is get the threading done at the same place that supplies the can if you can, I've had issues with one can that was fitted to a barrel threaded by a third party - no fault of either as the can was fine and the muzzle thread was to spec and all aligned just for some reason it shot loose. Another that was threaded by Gunworks had the same issue and I can confirm in that case Amanda's service and support backup is second to none.
