    Guys with C cat. Please read.

    What are examples of “critical” items you have to remove from the gun and store elsewhere. As the law currently stands today?

    It’s an interesting almost silly compliance. Considering most items aren’t hand fitted but mass produced one size fits all parts.

    I still interested to know.

    They may be mass produced, but not readily made. I know of one navy qualified machinist sargeant in a different universe far far away who took on a challenge, with his superior's permission, to make a G3 bolt with an original in his hand as a template. Failed. Story used to stress importance of keeping that "bottom piece" stored safely elsewhere. 100% sensible.

    I have heard a couple of similar stories, reverse engineering is a LOT harder than most people think
