picked her up unmolested.... previous owner brought her over from the states where she only nailed a few coyotes

fast forward to now and with only cosmetic changes for practicality (i still have the original butt plate and screws for the holes in the top of the reciever)

cleaned the peely lacquer off today and gave her a good old fashioned oiling..........

I LIKE that very much....

yea my original plan of getting a marlin 30-30 and shortening and suppressing it went out the window when i saw what i was buying.... it would have been sacrilidge .
when i retire it from the bush i will remove the scope and rail , the recoil pad and the sling swivel
