    Hardy Hybrid Rifle

    Gday team.
Has anyone had any experience with the Hardy hybrid rifle system? Even just picked one up and had a look at one?
It interests me and its my birthday coming up so my wife cant say no. Just keen to hear of anyones experiences.
    Thanks in advance.

Are they 50:50 electric / gun powder?
I'd go for the full rail-gun if I was you.
Wouldn't it be like a Prius version of a rifle? The Prius would have a better warranty though.

    Sorry. Couldn't help myself
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Buy a Blaser. The video I saw of the Hardy system made it look a pain to change around barrels etc.

Got one on order - visited the factory.... really excited for it. Communication so far has been excellent. .300PRC and likely to order a 6.5PRC barrel also.

Nice @rogers.270. Bit of wait i imagine. You played with one in the flesh?

The wait is nothing compared to the imports i tried to sort out and the willingness to do the job plus the addition of a bit of character was met well. Had tried discussing options with other gunsmiths but response was average at best.

Yes handled in the flesh, really light (perfect for alpine) and great workmanship and local. The calibre swap is a really cool option and easier to manage than the a blaser frankly from what i hear. Also wont need multiple scopes. I also like the platform better. Blaser is mint dont get me wrong.

Will do a review in a couple of weeks when i pick it up.

I believe he is inferring that you may be lacking in digital dexterity and probably also have trouble with tieing shoe laces

I have handled, shot and been impressed with finish and performance.
Talk to Ian Hughes at Hardys and he can walk you through it.
Only reason I dont own one is I have a fetish for the high end nightforce and my tikkas and sakos shoot so well!
