"This is my Flag... Ill only have the one ..
Yes, I am good mates with Steve. They are currently in the states at the Shot Show, showing off all their different stocks which they supply for 'The Best of the West' / Huskemaw Optics.
I own 2 of his stocks, one on a Sako 85 and one on Tikka T3x.
I have a new one. Do you need to bed them ? .The slot where recoil lug goes has like 5mm clearance all around... .

Nice, looking forward to seeing it
I have one recently aquired from a forum member, its not bedded but the marks where the stock fits the metal show very even. The recoil lug in this one is that snug it wont fall out if tipped upside down .Havent fired it as yet but apparently was doing .3 MOA
this is their signature series
@hotsoup do all rifle models require bedding?
According to hi-tech their models are drop in for t3 and rem 700, my finnlight required bedding, no idea about these one's though.
Yep I don,t think mine was finished properly. That recoil slot is like way to big. The lug flops in it.
Turn it half way and the lugs on the floor.
Bolt the thing together you can get the barrel to touch the stock by pushing down with 1 little finger
It doesn't appear to have any steel in it anywhere. Its full length not sure of model
Oh well I ll await their return

Ive got some shim over here, maybe not enough?
Boom, cough,cough,cough
I found the best method of communication with Steve to be via a private message to their Kiwi Composites Facebook page. As others have said, he’s in Vegas at the moment at the Shot Show, so unlikely to reply promptly.
Also, yes their stocks require bedding. Steve put up a YouTube video a while back showing the process.
