Thread: Has anyone bought a scope from Fishpond.co.nz?

I am after a Bushnell Banner Model 713947 with 6 inch eye relief for my Baikal IZH 18 single shot .308 and fishpond.co.nz seems to be about the only one offering, it is supplies from USA which is now a minefield of export restrictions. Has anyone got any stories, good or bad please. If I do my dough the CFO probably wont let me buy a second one.

Fishpond generally don't have the items the "sell" in stock, they order from their supplier.

Be prepared for a loooong wait.

I would go elsewhere. Had a Leupy vx1 1-4 on my Baikal. The eye relief on that is 4.2 inches, worked fine with the Baikal one piece mount that reloaders sell. You might not need a 6" relief scope...

Try this site see if there is anything you like on here, top bloke have brought 2 scopes and range finder from him.

I purchased a scope for my 22mag from fishpond came from USA just a cheapy tasco $250 on Tm got it for $128 delivered,took a while so chased it up turns out my address was incorrect how ever they we're help full enough

I'd be careful with Fishpond. Tried buying a Bushnell gps(Hunt Track) from them , 2 weeks after the order get an email saying that it could not be shipped due to legal reasons( I have no idea why this would be). Took another 2 weeks to get a refund. Have never had a good purchasing experience with Fishpond. I only use them as a last resort.
