    Help identifying leather ammo belt and pouch

    Looks like the cartridge belt is for 303, but does anyone know what the pouch/holster is for? Entrenching tool? Canteen?

    yeah Boer War vintage, 50rd bandolier, possibly late 1890's manufacturer going off other examples and similar stitching and rivet placements
