About LinkBacksMeh, I will bite... Have a Tikka and its 7mm08. Puts holes is things and reloaded rounds will travel better than 308. Have swapped the stock with an MDT/LSS, bit heavier but I like it for 5-600yrds (maybe longer at the range when I get a chance). No requirement to change the trigger or barrel unless your match shooting I guess.
