Must be like 100 meters of drop. Man that is far....
hence the shimmmy, man impressive when do we get a shree k vid KG?
I tend to use rocks/stones less than a moa for a target where ever I can, the smaller the better, not the 4-10 moa boulders/mountains you see in the usual ERL videos, even by the "big names"
Well done you just hit the side of a Barn.....;)
At 3k they are approx 1100fps with around 1000-1100 ft-lbs depending on projectile weight.
I have a 3+k yard vid but it isn't good enough to put up for a couple of reasons, first you can only see 3 strikes because of the target surrounding, I was shooting across a valley, over a ridge, across another valley & into a gully, across the wind....not very helpful, but mainly because I forgot to pan back out with the camera....Bugger.
Im guessing it wont be long till there is a good one
Greg I think you need to look at getting some better mounts than those Nikko Stirling ones you are using! They don't appear to have anywhere near enough screws holding the scope on:wtfsmilie:
i will be getting a couple of just landed tactical sun optics from the importer tomorrow so they will be getting a work out in the weekend.
I ordered a 8x32 and 4x16 so watch this space
I might stick the 4x16 on the kids 22 for kids comp target shooting and i have to send my vx3 8x25 of the 22-250 to the doctor so will stick the 8x32 on and see how it goes
Apparently good glass will just have to check the adjustments for consistency
