    Hm2 on the way back?

    Still my favourite rimfire round.

Hopefully we can get it down here again in better supply.

I had a CZ 452 American that was a lazer. Loved smashing Hares, Rabbits and Possums with the Eley Ammo.

Eley stuff had a funny smell, think it was their primer? Anyhow, I'd be keen to see a few million rounds hit our shores!

    Anyone else still running one?

I'd like to see that little caliber come back actually.... neat little round. Largely overtaken by 17HMR but would be happy to see it return and would certainly experiment with one.

I think that’s the main advantage really. If ammo is %40 less then it would be a great little option.

Mach 2 compares to.22 hmr to a .22 magnum just look at the parent cases of each then compare prices of ammo of each.
.223 is costing off the shelf $1.18 hmr iir about 60c. I use both.

I found it wouldn't group and smelt real bad

It groups just fine and smells the same as my reloads to me, the barnaul smells a bit but is still plenty accurate for goats and hares.

If it was any good There would be standing orders for about 30k a month here at that price. There's not.

The Belmont Black was very popular in the good old days. I think it depends on the purpose and what is acceptable accuracy.
