Thread: Homemade custom cheekrests?

Hey everyone
I now have two dedicated longrange rifles, i have a well fitting wad of cardboard that is taped up and hides under a cheek butt bag thing to give me perfect eye relief i want to make something like the defensive edge ones on deadeyes because i dont have $300 anyone tried something similar?
Or alternatively is there any cheaper options out there similar to that?

I use 20mm eva foam, heat it in oven and mould it over stock, then let it set and then shape it on grinder of belt sander to give me a nice angled cheek piece

I'm still experimeing with how to fix it ontl the stic and still have it removable for cleaning hte barrel. At this stage best option seems to be 2mm neoprene sock
